Student Health and Wellness Services | Health Center
Flu Shots are now available at the Student Health Center, Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm, free to students and $20 (FredCard Only) for Facutly and Staff.
When the Health Center is closed, emergency care is always available at Brooks Memorial Hospital. The hospital is located at 529 Central Ave., Dunkirk, approximately 3 miles from the campus. For any emergency on campus or when an ambulance is needed, the University Police should be called at 673-3333. If there is an emergency when you are off campus, dial 911.
All services provided outside the Student Health Center, such as outpatient laboratories, x-rays, and emergency room visits are the student's responsibility, and are not covered by the student health fee.
Located in LoGrasso Hall, the Student Health Center is committed to providing high quality student-centered health care and wellness services to currently enrolled Fredonia students. Similar to that of an urgent care, the Student Health Center can often care for many of the student's medical needs without needing to leave campus. Most of our services are covered by the health fee, so there are no bills or copays. Our staff are all licensed in the state of New York, and have had extensive training and experience in the care of college students.
