Tracy L. Stenger, Ph.D., NCC, LMHC

Director of Counseling
Co-Director of Student Health and Wellness Services

Tracy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an alum of Fredonia. She completed her master's in Counseling Psychology at Ball State University (1998) and her Ph.D. in Counselor Education at the University at Buffalo (2007).

Jeffrey Janicki, M.S., NCC, LMHC


Jeff is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been serving as a full time counselor since the Fall of 2000.  He received his Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University (1998) and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from SUNY College at Geneseo (1994).

Joelle Bazaz, Psy. D.

Post Doctoral Fellow in Clinical Pyschology

Joelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University (2011) and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology (2013) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She recently completed her Doctor of Psychology (Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2016).

Kimberly Gallivan, M.S. Ed., LMHC-P


Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fredonia (2014) and a Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure (2016). 

Ivory N. Brooks, M.A. MFT-P, CASAC-T


Ivory received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from Canisius College in Buffalo N.Y. majoring in Criminal Justice in 2010.  Ivory graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo N.Y. with a Master’s of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015.

Julie Hoen Bezek, M.A.

Coordinator of Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention (SAVP)

Advisor, S.T.E.P.S. (Students Teaching Equals Positive Sexuality)

Julie received her Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University (2004) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fredonia (2002).

Dr. Abassi and Kyle Wiktor, NP (Psychiatric Nurse Practicioner)

Psychiatric services are provided at the Counseling Center through a partnership with Jamestown Psychiatric. Students who are in need of psychiatric evaluations and/or medication monitoring can discuss these services with counseling center staff.
